Can't talk about the outcome of the game yet.. too painful.
BUT I can talk about how wonderful my experience in New Orleans has been. Between the SNF team/ experience and this amazing city, this is hands down on of the best vacations I've ever been on!
Last night we had a private tailgate at the SNF Bus catered by a local restuarant... best gumbo I've ever had! We then moved into the Superdome, which by the way, Montel Jordan was performing "This is How We Do It" while everyone was walking in. So cool! Our seats were amazing, but my team, they just didn't show up.
I've loaded some more pictures in the photo gallery, check them out HERE!
And this place is AMAZING... Seriously, I think this may be my new vacation spot. Pictures just don't do it justice! It is beautiful! Check out photos of my trip Here!
So here is my update:
Flew in late last night and met up with the Saints Fan of the Week and the Sunday Night Football Team at Parkway Bakery and Tavern (which is known for their Poor Boy Sandwiches). After one (Ok, 2 two drinks) we had a competition - who could make the best Team themed Poor Boy Sandwich. Mine was the "Riverboat Ron" with an "Ice Up Son" on the side (a seafood Poor Boy with a cold Budweiser on the side). My sandwich unfortunately lost to the Saints Fan's Poor Boy which had fried oysters and bacon. Lesson learned, nothing can beat bacon! See pictures of my beautiful Poor Boy HERE.
This morning, my boyfriend and I wandered The French Quarter and then met up with the Saints FOW and the SNF team for lunch at Kingfish. Such a blast - the Saint's fan (Mary) is wonderful. Really kind and so fun! And the SNF team, Lindsay, Trey, and Dante are a blast. We sat at Kingfish for hours and hung out on the Sunday Night Football bus. And so nice of Sunday Night Football, they hooked me up with lots of Panthers swag.
Not quite sure what I'm up to tonight, I'll keep ya posted!
Can't wait to see that Panthers WIN tomorrow!
